Plus besoin d’aller dans les guinguettes au bord de la Marne pour passer un après-midi à danser et “picoler”.Le Pick-Clops est un vrai beau bistrot avec un vrai bar en zinc à l’ancienne, c’est le café du coin de ma rue où vous pouvez me rencontrer plusieurs fois par jour, l’équipe jeune est super sympa et le patron aussi. Voilà pour la Pub. Les orchestres qui jouent le plus souvent le dimanche sont superbes.il n’y a pas de programmation

Permettez-moi de vous raconter l’origine du terme “picoleur”. Au siècle dernier, une barrière d’octroi se trouvait aux portes de Paris, juste en dehors de la capitale. Le vin y était moins taxé, ce qui a favorisé le développement des guinguettes le long des rives de la Marne. Il était courant de trouver des danseurs ivres dans les fossés aux abords de Paris. On les a surnommés les “picoleurs” car dans les guinguettes, on buvait du vin blanc de Suresnes, provenant d’un cépage bien connu, le fameux PICOLO. Ainsi est né le terme “picoler” et les “picoleurs”.

No need to go to the guinguettes by the banks of the Marne to spend an afternoon dancing and “drinking”. The Pick-Clops is a beautiful authentic bistro with a real old-fashioned zinc bar, it’s the corner café on my street where you can meet me several times a day. The young team is super friendly, and so is the owner. That’s the advertisement. The orchestras that often play on Sundays are superb, and there is no specific schedule.

Allow me to tell you the origin of the term “picoleur”. In the last century, there was a toll gate at the gates of Paris, just outside the capital. Wine was less taxed there, which led to the development of guinguettes along the banks of the Marne. It was common to find drunken dancers in the ditches near Paris. They were called “picoleurs” because in the guinguettes, they drank white wine from Suresnes, made from a well-known grape variety, the famous PICOLO. And thus, the term “picoler” and the “picoleurs” were born.
